Load Profile and Operating Duty

Describe what runs, when it runs and what changes during a production cycle.

Connected load and demand
Provide the load list, rated kW or kVA, power factor where known, expected simultaneous operation and measured demand if available. Separate existing loads from future additions.
Motors and starting duty
Identify the largest motors, starting method, starting current and duration where available, starts per hour and restart sequence. State the permitted voltage dip or ask the project engineer to define it.
Cyclic and impact loads
Describe crushers, conveyors, hoists, mills or other process loads where applicable. Share peak magnitude, duration and repetition; suitability for impact duty requires project-specific review.
Non-linear loads
List variable-speed drives, rectifiers and other power-electronic loads. Provide available harmonic data and operating combinations so the need for a power-quality assessment can be reviewed.
Continuity and recovery
Identify critical loads, acceptable interruption time, shutdown windows and restart priorities. Any standby supply, redundancy or transfer arrangement must be defined and agreed; uninterrupted operation is not assumed.

Environmental and Installation Constraints

Give actual conditions at the equipment location, including seasonal extremes and transport limitations.

Exposure and site conditions

State altitude, ambient temperature range, humidity, condensation, dust type and concentration, corrosion exposure and indoor or outdoor location. Any enclosure rating, cooling arrangement or special treatment requires written confirmation.

Space and civil interfaces

Share room or pad dimensions, ventilation information, cable routes, access clearances and available layout drawings. Identify foundation, fire-protection and oil-containment requirements for the project engineer to confirm.

Handling and installation

Specify delivery access, route restrictions, unloading arrangements, lifting limits and maintenance access. State vibration or mechanical shock requirements where relevant; capability is not assumed.

A mining application label does not establish suitability for underground use, explosive atmospheres or combustible dust. Transformer package
Define quantity, voltages, proposed capacity, frequency, vector group, impedance, tapping and accessories. Final selection and guaranteed values require an approved technical schedule.
MV distribution
Identify incoming and outgoing feeders, switching arrangement, required fault ratings, protection and metering. Availability, configuration and applicable requirements must be confirmed for the enquiry.

Can equipment be selected from total installed kVA alone?

No. Provide the operating load profile, simultaneous demand, starting conditions and continuity requirements, together with the supply and site information. Ask the project engineer to confirm the selection basis.

Does the solution cover high-altitude, dusty or humid locations?

These conditions require project-specific confirmation. Supply actual site data and the required enclosure or environmental specification; this page makes no default claim of suitability or protection rating.

Is the published transformer approved for underground or hazardous mining areas?

No such approval is established by this page. Identify the location classification, applicable requirements and required product evidence. Do not infer underground, explosion-protected or combustible-dust suitability from the mining scenario.

Are MV/LV switchgear, controls and site works included?
